Macan has two models, Macan 4 and Macan Turbo, with different appearance kits. The front face adopts split headlight design and introduces the latest family language. The style of daytime running lights is similar to that of Cayenne. The lines on the front hatch cover raised by the daytime running lights group increase the muscle feeling of the car and become more sporty. The daytime running light bulges upward, which is a classic design of Porsche family. The front enclosure has a huge front spoiler, which shows the motion characteristics of the vehicle.
On the side of the car body, you will see the classic outline of Macan. The unique shape makes it look round and dynamic. The pure electric Macan has a shorter front and rear suspension and a larger wheelbase. In terms of vehicle size, the length, width and height of pure electric Macan are 4784/1938/1622mm and the wheelbase is 2893mm respectively. Because of getting rid of the internal combustion engine, the front trunk with a volume of 84L can be provided, and the normal and expanded trunk has a volume of 540-1348L, while the Turbo model has occupied some trunk space with a volume of 480-1288L due to the sound system.

At the rear of the vehicle, the fixed spoiler extended from the roof of Macan was "hidden" under the rear windshield of pure electric Macan, and this time it became an electrically adjustable rear spoiler. The lighting effect of the penetrating taillight is very good, and the rear camera and the electric trunk button are integrated inside.
In the interior, the T-shaped area of the center console maintains a high degree of consistency with Cayenne. Like Cayenne, it has a triple screen design, which highlights the sense of technology and luxury. The overall shape is still centered on the driver, and the gear handle is moved to the right side of the steering wheel. Vehicles are PCM equipped with Android Automotive OS car operating system, and Porsche Application Center that can download third-party applications, which can download more apps and support CarPlay mobile phone mapping. My Porsche application can remotely control charging and in-vehicle functions. All three screens can display relatively comprehensive information, including navigation, music, Bluetooth phone and so on.
The front seats support heating and ventilation, the front and rear air conditioners have independent control areas, the integrated seats have good wrapping, the frameless doors look quite sporty, and the atmosphere lights on the doors and the center console create a luxurious atmosphere.
In terms of power, the pure electric Macan will adopt the latest generation of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PSM) with front and rear dual-motor four-wheel drive. The maximum power is 300 kW and the maximum torque is 650 Nm; Macan Turbo has a maximum power of 470 kW and a maximum torque of 1130 Nm. In order to improve the efficiency, silicon carbide is used as the semiconductor material in the rear-axle pulse inverter (PWR), which greatly reduces the conversion loss of the pulse inverter and realizes a higher conversion frequency. The new car is equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a total capacity of 100kWh, which is divided into 12 modules with a total of 180 square cells, of which the ratio of nickel, cobalt and manganese is 8:1:1. The acceleration of 0-100km/h is 5.2 seconds for Macan 4 and 3.3 seconds for Macan Turbo.
Thanks to the technical architecture of 800V, the maximum charging power of Macan can reach 270kW, and it can be charged from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes at the earliest. If the charging pile can only use 400V technology, pure electric Macan will start the "combined charging" function to speed up the charging process. The "combined charging" function can effectively divide the 800V battery into two batteries, each with a rated voltage of 400V, which can be charged in a 400V charging pile in parallel.
