Up to now, the earthquake has killed 117 people in Gansu and 31 people in Qinghai, and damaged some houses, roads and power facilities.

More than 72 hours have passed since the earthquake. Are the roads in the affected areas unblocked and can electricity be guaranteed? Do the affected people have hot meals and clean water to drink, are warmth guaranteed, and are they treated for illness?

Power transportation: Gansu and Qinghai provinces have basically returned to normal.

Gansu:

Up to now, the power, water supply and gas supply in Jishishan County, Gansu Province have returned to normal; Heating has basically recovered, and individual damaged pipe networks are being repaired; All expressways and national and provincial trunk lines in the earthquake-stricken area of Gansu Province were unblocked, and all rural roads leading to the hardest-hit areas were rushed through.

The reporter saw in Chuimatan Town, where Jishishan County is located, that the roads in the county town were smooth and many shops began to open. From time to time, vehicles loaded with relief supplies can be seen on the road heading for towns and villages with heavy disasters.

Qinghai:

As of 19: 21 on the 19th, the power supply of users affected by this earthquake in Qinghai has all been restored.

Qinghai Communications Control Group has opened 214 special passages for earthquake relief in the province’s expressways, and set up convenient service points for earthquake relief on the expressways leading to the earthquake zone to provide full support services for earthquake relief vehicles and rescue teams.

China Railway Qinghai-Tibet Group Co., Ltd. conducted a "carpet-type" investigation on the sections affected by the earthquake, and found no abnormality in railway-related equipment and facilities. At present, the trains in its pipeline have resumed normal traffic.

Gansu:

By the afternoon of the 22nd, 499 people in the earthquake-stricken areas in Gansu had been discharged from hospital after treatment, and 282 people who were still hospitalized were admitted to provincial, state and county medical institutions. National and provincial treatment experts are stationed at the site to guide, and one person and one policy make a diagnosis and treatment plan.

On the night of the earthquake, serious cracks appeared in the inpatient building of Jishishan County Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. The medical staff temporarily set up a bed on the roadside, bandaged the minor injuries on the spot, and sent the serious injuries to Jishishan County People’s Hospital after simple treatment. The National Health and Wellness Commission and medical institutions at all levels in Gansu urgently dispatched experts to the disaster area to comprehensively carry out search and rescue, transshipment and treatment of the wounded.

Qinghai:

After the earthquake, Qinghai Provincial People’s Hospital immediately launched the earthquake emergency response, set up a 31-member emergency rescue medical team to rescue in the earthquake area, opened a green channel, vacated the ward urgently, concentrated on treating the injured, and made every effort to ensure medical rescue.

As of 22: 00 on the 21st, 226 people have been admitted to various medical institutions in Haidong City, Qinghai Province, 166 people have been treated in hospital, 7 people have been discharged, and 22 people have been followed up in the outpatient department.

Gansu:

Dong Ganjun, secretary of the Party branch of Zhangguojia Village, Liugou Township, Jishishan County, said that in recent days, he and the villagers have received coal, cotton bedding, stoves, milk and other living materials, which can basically guarantee the living needs of more than 300 people in the village.

On the 21st, in the courtyard of the village committee of Meipo Village, Dahejia Town, Jishishan County, the reporter saw that 36 prefabricated houses had been built and people were staying one after another. "Compared with ordinary tents, prefabricated houses have better thermal insulation, wind resistance and flame retardancy." Qinghai:
