On November 15th, Yu Chengdong, managing director of Huawei, chairman of BG, and chairman of BU, a smart car solution, announced at the Guangzhou Auto Show that Zunjie would appear with Mate 70 at the press conference before the end of November. Mate 70 series includes four models: Mate 70, Mate 70 Pro, Mate 70 Pro+ and Mate 70 RS Extraordinary Master.
The front of Mate 70 series continues the design style of Mate 60 series, and adopts the form of three-hole screen. This design is unique in the mobile phone industry and has high recognition. However, this time Mate 70 series has no unified design scheme. According to reports, the standard version of Mate 70 will be equipped with a 1.5K straight screen, while the high version will use a 1.5K full-depth four-micro-curved screen. All models are designed with a metal right-angle frame, with a ring lens layout on the back, and support side fingerprint recognition and 3D face recognition. In addition, the rear camera configuration includes a 50-megapixel outsole main camera, a periscope telephoto lens and a super wide-angle lens, and is equipped with an XMAGE imaging system independently developed by Huawei.
Mate 70 series will also be equipped with a brand-new native HarmonyOS system for the first time, which is no longer compatible with Android-based applications and only supports native applications in HarmonyOS. In this regard, Yu Chengdong once said: "It took us 10 years to complete the independent and controllable core technology of the operating system that European and American counterparts need more than 30 years to achieve. This is the HarmonyOS speed."
Interestingly, in a live broadcast, the host mentioned a photo circulating on the Internet, in which Yu Chengdong seemed to be deliberately covering his pocket on the plane. Yu Chengdong explained that Huawei Mate 70 was in his pocket at that time, "for fear of being photographed". This photo is also reminiscent of a photo exposed in early August, showing that Yu Chengdong is carrying a Huawei Mate XT, which is suspected to be the world’s first three-fold mobile phone.
It is expected that at Huawei’s new product launch conference on November 26th, in addition to Mate 70 series, new folding screen mobile phone Mate X6, tablet computer, router, smart watch supporting blood pressure monitoring, TWS headset, modified Chezhijie S7 and new car Zunjie may also be launched. According to the supply chain news, Huawei Mate 70 series has been mass-produced since the end of last month, and the stock is more abundant than before, which may be easier for consumers to obtain when purchasing.
