The new Hongqi EH7 debuted at MIIT. The car was previously codenamed E001 and is positioned as a medium and large pure electric sedan. It is built based on the Hongqi FMSs platform architecture and has a maximum cruising range of 800km. It is expected to be launched within the year.
The new car continues the concept car design, and the front face adopts a large area of closed treatment to highlight the new energy identity. The knife-shaped headlight group has a rich function of light group. The front surround is embedded with a wealth of sensors, which is expected to have advanced driving assistance functions. The side of the car has a common embedded door handle design. The rear of the car adopts a through-type tail light design, and the rear surround area integrates a large area of black decorative structure to enhance the overall layering of the tail. The length, width and height of the body are 4980 × 1915 × 1490mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3000mm. Among them, the single motor version is equipped with 18-inch wheels, and the dual motor version is equipped with 19-inch wheels. The new car will provide red brake calipers, two-color body and different styles of tail logos for users to choose from.
In terms of power, two versions of single motor and dual motor are available. The former has a maximum power of 253kW, and the latter has a maximum of 455kW, which is equipped with the ternary lithium battery of Ningde era. It is expected to provide a battery replacement version and a long-life fast charging version, of which the battery replacement version has a battery life of 600km, which is completed in 60 seconds.
